The first adidas Nite Joggers were released in 1979. The purpose of the shoe was to provide runners with a shoe that offered increased visibility in the dark so that runners could be safer at dusk and dawn. adidas did this by using reflective material on the 3 stripes and at the back. In addition to the reflectors the shoe also aided runners by being lightweight and offered a studded sole for extra support and grip.
Fast forward 36 years and adidas have teamed up with size? to re-release the Nite Jogger. size? released the white orange and blue version a few months ago and now it’s time for 2 more colourways to hit the highstreet.
The latest releases are a white/solar and redwood version. Both colours have a leather and textile upper and synthetic sole. The shoe is exclusive to size? and once the stock has gone they will be difficult to find. Both colourways are priced at £80 and are available to buy at size? now.
