The adidas “Malibu” were first released in the mid 80s. They were designed and manufactured for women mid-distance runners. There were a few different models of the Malibu but the most common version was the “Seattle”. The shoes upper was made out of nylon due to its light weight and finished with suede to give it that authentic adidas style and increased durability. The midsole was constructed using 2 different coloured EVA placed on top of each other. The bottom outsoul was made from the standard compacted rubber to finish off a extremely comfortable, hard wearing, light shoe.
